I'm hoping that the next in the series is a better read for me.

As for the second one, several people mentioned a strange love triangle with the evil queen, that sort of freaked me out and turned me off from reading WINTERSPELL. But I've seen great things too, so I'm not sure if I'll pick it up or not. I like that you loved it though!Lauren @ Love is not a trianglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15388832613855107816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122122426051336537.post-47126013112611152642014-10-16T13:56:55.076-05:002014-10-16T13:56:55.076-05:00I'm so glad that Lark Rising will be a compani...I'm so glad that Lark Rising will be a companion series along the lines of His Fair Assassin (great comparison) - it means the no cliffhangers and the wait between books won't be so bad! I too enjoyed the first one - other than Lark thinking her friend was the one for Gharain I thought the romance was sweet. And the story itself is unique.
Great review, girl!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06307895303115762938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122122426051336537.post-90251093061210399422014-10-15T15:09:47.859-05:002014-10-15T15:09:47.859-05:00I've heard a lot of good about Winterspell and...I've heard a lot of good about Winterspell and it's one I'm hoping to read soon :) Glad you liked it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122122426051336537.post-62171310425124282042014-10-15T09:38:12.295-05:002014-10-15T09:38:12.295-05:00"Lark has foreseen two things—she will fall f..."Lark has foreseen two things—she will fall for a young man with sage green eyes, and he will kill her."
