I thought the writing was wonderful and the twist took me by surprise but the kids were so stupid (I agree with you Pam!). I like E. Lockhart's other book I just recently read better - The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks (which is a mouthful).Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18339884453331050427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122122426051336537.post-12703194283013520112014-09-18T10:52:58.864-05:002014-09-18T10:52:58.864-05:00I might skip this one. Maybe I'll come back to it at some point.Tressa @ Wishful Endingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13526748955941114672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122122426051336537.post-69116046466952432152014-09-17T17:13:50.017-05:002014-09-17T17:13:50.017-05:00I, like Rebecca above, hasn't too over the moo...I, like Rebecca above, hasn't too over the moon with this one. I figured out the twist very VERY early on and so I was disappointed when I was right. The writing style was quite unique though and I loved how the words flowed. It was very old world-esque, like you mentioned Sheri. Definitely didn't read as something modern. I'm glad you both enjoyed it, though!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00693881573322261240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122122426051336537.post-41277985158761168662014-09-17T09:15:38.068-05:002014-09-17T09:15:38.068-05:00I wasn't a huge fan of this one. The twist got me, didn't see it coming, but I guess I just expected more after all the hype.

And I have no idea why they are called liars, Pam. lolRebecca @ Unbound Pageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14609128581185079525noreply@blogger.com
