So I'm continuing with my theme of finding books for "Lost in Austen". This week I bought the first book in two series that are considered young adult Austen spin-offs. While I am certain that the Jane Austen Diaries series is considered young adult I'm not so sure about Darcy & Friends. How do I know for sure?

DeleteLooks like you got some good books. I LOVED The Statistical Prob...! I don't remember if you saw my review of Gated. Interesting read. I also reviewed The Boyfriend App on the blog a while back. There were a couple of things that bothered me and if it wouldn't have had those things I would have really liked it. I keep forgetting to come check to see how you've been liking your Austen spin-off books. Have you loved any of them so far?

DeleteYour library is made of awesome. I can not wait to see reviews of all these, Golden, Forsaken, and the Boyfriend App are supposed to be great reads and I personally loved the Statistical Probability so much.

DeleteOh wow! Such a GREAT haul!! I loved The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. I listened to the audio, so that may have been why... but it was amazing. I really enjoyed The Boyfriend App too. It was cute. I liked Golden, but I was definitely the odd man out there because most people absolutely adored it. I hope you love it! I'm listening to Gated right now on audio, and it's pretty good. I'm liking the second half more than the first. I've heard a lot of awesome things about The Bone Season... I'm thinking about getting it myself, perhaps on audio. (Can you tell I love my audios?! :D) I've really had my eyes on the Ashes Trilogy too... it sounds really good. I hope you enjoy all of your goodies this week!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've listened to a few audiobooks. I'm not the biggest fan, but it may be the narrators that I had. If my commute were longer, I'm sure I would listen to them more. ~Pam

I've had some good luck with the library lately, I wish I had been using it sooner. I enjoyed The Bone Season too. I thought I would be disappointed given all the hype, but it was really good. ~Pam

I've really been trying to get books from the library lately. I used to just go to Amazon and buy everything, but now I check first at the library and most of the time I get the books in a week or so. Not the instant gratification of the one-click button, but it helps money-wise. ~Pam
